Very vigorous rootstock.
Tolerates exocortis and very resistant to Phytophthora, however vulnerable to tristeza and xyloporosis.
Tolerant of serious viruses when grafted onto lemon trees, except to xyloporosis when grafted onto infected buds, (re-grafting on unclean buds should not be used).
Very good affinity with all varieties producing trees of a good size.
Resistant to lime and salinity, however vulnerable to radicular asphyxia and extremely sensitive to frost.
Its most pronounced characteristics are its rapid entry into production, high productivity and early maturation, with a medium fruit quality.
