Variety possibly to have originated in Portugal. Vigorous tree that is round in shape without thorns. Light green leaves, relatively inviable pollen, self-compatible.
Large, round fruit with very few seeds. Plentiful, high-quality juice.
Suitable both for fresh consumption and for industry, as the juice contains very little limonin.
Harvest in the third season (April-June). Remains well on the tree. Perfect for preservation in refrigerated chambers until consumption in summer. Adapts well to all citrus-growing regions, although particularly suitable for areas without a high risk of late frosts.
