Description

Mutation of the Comuna variety to have originated in l’Ènova (Valencia). A very vigorous tree without thorns and with a tendency to produce vertical branches protruding from the treetop. Light green leaves,

Relatively inviable pollen, self-compatible. Fruit is medium in size, round and flattened. Seedless. The pulp is very juicy, yielding a high quantity of high-quality juice.

Suitable both for fresh consumption and for use in industry, as it contains little limonin.

Harvest during the first and second season (December-March). Keeps well in cold storage.

Agronomic remarks

Treatment is required to prevent fruit-drop if harvest is planned for February onward. Slight tendency towards alternate harvests. Avoid heavy pruning in vigorous trees.
