Orogrande

Description

Selection of Clemenules obtained in Murcia in 1978, with slight differences to the original variety (abscission in tender shoots in flower is less and the percentage of fruit to be harvested in the preliminary stage is greater).

The tree is vigorous, with an initial growth spurt and rapid entry into production. It has few thorns and some multi-bud galls. Flowering may be staggered over time and pollen has a high germinating power. The variety is parthenocarpic and self-incompatible.

The fruit is the same size or slightly larger than the Clemenules variety, with smooth skin and fewer essential oil glands. High percentage of high-quality juice. Seedless.
