Description

Triploid variety to have spontaneously originated in Tahiti. Tree of medium vigour with an abundance of small thorns. The variety is re-flowering and its pollen is inviable.

The fruit is large in comparison to other lime varieties. Oval, oblong or almost elliptical form. Very small shoot in the base and small apical nipple. Very acidic juice with a characteristic lime flavour and aroma. Fine rind Seedless.

Quickly enters into production and is harvested early in the first season. Somewhat more sensitive to the cold than lemon trees.
